And the benefits of the top private schools are certainly not ones to be discounted. For instance, very few private school teachers feel that their students are apathetic about school and learning – in fact, less than 5% of them all throughout the country actually feel this way. Unfortunately, more than one fifth of all public school teachers struggle with student apathy in their classrooms, sometimes on what feels like an insurmountable scale.

In public school settings, there are often not enough guidance counselors for the number of students, meaning that the average guidance counselor is able to spend less than even just one fourth of their time on matters surrounding college. For private school counselors, things are much different and such guidance counselors find themselves able to spend as much as 55% of their total time on preparing their caseload of students for college and walking them through the college application process (and all else that goes along with it).
At the end of the day, the students of the top private schools also have better physical materials at their disposal as well. Digital textbooks are likely to be more common, as are computer labs with top of the line computers. This is even likely to be the case at private elementary schools and private middle schools too, some of which have even begun to provide personal tablets for their students, which can typically only be used over the course of the school year and not outside of it.
